Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Codify – Cash on Delivery Fees for Shopify (“the App”) provided by Codify. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

Codify – Cash on Delivery Fees for Shopify is a Shopify application that automatically adds Cash on Delivery fees to checkout when a configured manual payment method is selected. The App uses Shopify Cart Transform and Checkout UI extensions to apply and remove fees dynamically.

2. Eligibility

You must be a Shopify merchant with an active store and authority to install third-party apps. You are responsible for ensuring COD fees comply with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

  • Use the App only for lawful merchant purposes on your Shopify store.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or circumvent the App.
  • Maintain accurate payment method configuration in Shopify Admin.
  • Comply with Shopify's Terms of Service and API usage policies.

4. Fees and billing

Codify – Cash on Delivery Fees for Shopify is offered as a single subscription plan at $9.99/month. Any future subscription or usage fee changes will be disclosed clearly before you are charged.

5. Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, Shopify platform changes, or third-party outages may temporarily affect the App. We are not liable for revenue loss due to service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

6. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to that policy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codify is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Our total liability is limited to fees paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 USD if no fees were paid.

8. Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time from Shopify Admin. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
