Frequently asked questions
How does Codify detect Cash on Delivery?
A Checkout UI extension watches the selected payment method and sets a cart attribute when your linked manual COD payment is active. The Cart Transform reads that signal and applies or removes the fee line item.
Will the fee stay if the customer changes payment method?
No. When shoppers switch from COD to card, wallet, or another method, the extension clears the signal and the Cart Transform removes the fee immediately.
Do you store customer personal information?
No. Codify stores only your shop domain, app configuration, and OAuth session data required to operate. Customer names, emails, and order details are not stored on our servers.
Can I set a fixed or percentage fee?
Yes. Configure either a fixed amount or a percentage of the cart subtotal from your Shopify Admin dashboard.
When will the app be on the Shopify App Store?
Codify is in final preparation for App Store listing. Join our early access list via the contact form to get notified at launch.
